Hi,
I tried Ubuntu 8.10 before. I was so disappointed with the font(though I imported the fonts from Windows). I do have the similar problem with my X61s. I hope the Lenovo(who sell the machine) can fix this problem.

I used to have similar problems with my X41T (running Tablet XP) and now am having similar issues with my X200T (running Vista 64). It seems to have something to do with Access Connections and the Windows driver.

Hey Jon, thanks for the comment.

Let me know how the older driver works out.

I'm really surprised this problem hasn't been addressed by Lenovo.

The newest version of Acess Connections is complete JUNK. Once connected I had no issues but it broke down the process of connecting to networks, even using Vista.

Rolled back and it works now, but the newest driver may be the culprit because now I drop my connection which NEVER happened until upgrading.

Based on my observations I believe it's a combination of the two.

I'm rolling back to the last wireless driver for 4965agn.
